This project will result in ecological sustainability of terrestrial and marine ecosystems, which will result in enhanced quantity and values of ecosystem goods and services, including: shoreline maintenance, storm protection, soil protection, water provision (quality and quantity), flood control, carbon sequestration, tourism attractions and increased resilience and self-repair of ecosystems from other stresses, such as increased sea temperature. The project will provide direct benefits for endangered species, e.g. the endemic Grenada Dove (Leptotilawellsi) and six species of marine turtles (Green, Leatherback, Loggerhead, Hawksbill, Kemps Ridley and Olive Ridley) found in Grenada’s waters.
